Can pau is situated in the Garraf national park on the edge of the tiny village of Olivella just 30 minutes from Barcelona and 15 minutes from the popular seaside town of Sitges. Tarragona airport, Reus, is also just a one hour drive. The traditional town of Sant Pere de Ribes is 10 minutes away and just 5 minutes from the house is a pharmacy, a bank and a grocery store selling all your day to day needs including fresh meat, fruit and vegetables, bread etc.
 

 

  

Activities

The Garraf park is perfect for walking and mountain biking and we are very happy to lend you bikes.
A riding stable is close by and rides in the park by the hour or all day with lunch can be arranged. There are 5 golf courses in the area , the closest being 10 minutes away, and a tennis club at which we have organised special rates for our guests.

Sitges is a lively town with pretty narrow streets where you will find many restaurants and shops. The beaches are safe and sandy and here you can sail, waterski, jet ski and kiak .

The town of Vilafranca is 25 minutes away and has a large and interesting market on Saturday morning. The major wine and cava houses such as Torres and Cordeniu are also here and give interesting guided tours with a free sample of their product at the end!

An hour away in Tarragona are famous roman ruins and perhaps of more interest to those of you with childred the Univeral Studios theme park Port Aventura.
